I Just Got My Cat Off Craigslist And The Previous Owner Said She Had Feeding…
I just got my cat off craigslist and the previous owner said she had feeding problems by throwing up whatever she eats, she had this episode tonight and I want to still feed her and not let her go. What do I do

She ate some dry food tonight Very little and the brand was Purina one smart blend she is 8 years old and it took about 20 minutes for her to vomit I am Going to try some wet food tomorrow and my cat is only 8lbs

Maddie, where do you live? there are numerous holistic approaches to help your cat that you can do yourself in addition to working with an integrative vet, a person trained in many different approaches, including using conventional drugs only when absolutely needed. Hi Maddie, She is blessed to have found you! I’m having the same problems with my cat but she is severely injured so she now has a feeding tube placed in. As christina said try only moistened food. There’s one scary thing about cats: they dehydrate very fast. Your lucky you have alot of good vets near you (and here) so do use them as much as possible. Your doing the right thing by not giving up and standing by her 🙂 Maybe also contact the previous owner and see if she has a favorite food, if its a dry… Read more »
