My dog was itching his side and when I looked this was in his fur (he seemed to have already pulled it out as there was a bit of blood as seen in the pic). Anyone have any idea what it could possibly be? Thanks in advance!
I can’t see anything else. He has Addison’s Disease so we go to the vets fairly regularly (next appt 15th). Could this wait or should I take him in tomorrow?
Has anyone had experience with Addison’s Disease before? What sort of difference did you notice in your dog?
Thankyou so much- we got the positive result tests back earlier today. After going through utter hell and thinking this was kidney disease and then finally out vet seemed to join the dots and test for addison’s we are all feeling so much better.
Maybe one day we’ll be back at the agility course. Thankyou for your answer 🙂

My 2 year old dog recently had kidney failure. He has been on intensive fluids for the past 2 days but has been on and off a drip for 2 days prior, today is his first day off and he is urinating like mad but not drinking at all. Help?
