I Made A Vet Appointment The Day That I Noticed The Lump, But They Were…

I made a vet appointment the day that I noticed the lump, but they were booked until this Wednesday so that’s when we’ll be going. Will she be ok till then? She’s eating and acting normal!

I have a 9lb, 2 year old Brussels griffon mix, unspayed, never had puppies. I know I need to get her spayed but I’m terrified of her having surgery, she’s my baby. I know it’s a huge risk not doing it, so I want to, please reassure me!

Ive only ever had male dogs, and the surgery didn’t seem quite as extensive, that’s why I’m so worried. She’s also the first small dog I’ve owned and we have an extremely strong bond. I know it’s silly that I’m so worried, but I can’t help it!

Pyometra is definitely one of my biggest concerns. I’m going to schedule the surgery this week, I’m so nervous but it’s for the best. Any of you vets had someone crying when they’re dropping their dog of for a routine spay? That will probably be me lol. I think the problem also stems from not really trusting my vet.

it’s one of the most commonly performed surgeries. better to get her spayed than risk pyometra.
